I am an MLS student, digital humanist, and (ethno)musicologist. I will graduate from Indiana University, Bloomington with a Master of Library Science and a Specialization in Digital Humanities in May 2018, and I hold an M.A. in Musicology from The Ohio State University.
My research interests encompass digital scholarship, pedagogy, and publishing and my interdisciplinary background provides the foundation for my current scholarship and teaching. I am interested in exploring innovative techniques of incorporating Digital Humanities tools into the classroom and across disciplines in ways that will engage individuals within and outside the university community. As a musicologist, my research centers around the intertextual relationship between sound, music, and gothic literature in late eighteenth-century Britain. I’m using digital tools to explore these connections.
